Since September 2005, kcs has been offering Jr. Kindergarten programs. Children who are 4 years old learn together in an enriched, integrated setting.

The programs runs 5 days a week - you choose your day(s)!

 

Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 2:15 pm.

​

**Please note, all children must be potty trained, with the exception of our Toddlers and Early Intervention children.

In preparation for Kindergarten, the program focuses on a number of key skill areas (all learned through play with peers), namely:
Reading readiness via visual and auditory discrimination activities
Math readiness with counting, graphing and patterning skills
Arts and crafts through exploration of a variety of media
Music and drama experiences

 

These areas are supported by speech, occupational and physical therapists and the kcs Early Intervention team as needed.

4 Elmers glue sticks (if last name begins with A-P)

1 box sandwich Ziploc bags (if last name begins with Q-Z)

 

-Change of clothing in a ziplock bag (labelled)
